Content Strategy & Management

The examples below highlight my work in content strategy, through content auditing, strategic implementation, and user experience. I prioritize clear, jargon-free communication that is accessible for all users.

Content Audit & Updates

To address an educational content gap on the My Care Plus patient portal, I led a comprehensive audit and competitive analysis of 125 oncology-specific articles.

By evaluating these assets for clinical accuracy, legal compliance, and patient relevance, I found that only 12 percent (15 articles) were current and did not require immediate intervention. I created a plan to lead the team in systematically updating content in less than two months.

Competitive
Analysis

This competitive analysis was the first step in understanding patient-focused content in the market. My Care Plus patient portal leadership was considering creating an oncology-specific blog to help support patients during their treatment journey.

This analysis influenced leadership to forgo a blog-type experience on the portal in favor of a clinical content library that puts patients in the driver's seat, making it easy to find the information they need when they need it.

Content
Strategy

To support patients throughout their cancer journey, the My Care Plus patient portal needed to implement a more consistent patient education solution. After vetting vendors, I developed a strategy to implement clinically approved, personalized content incrementally, bringing the portal to market parity.

This strategy focused on identifying content gaps and helping create experiences in the portal to expand patient education resources.

Style
Guide

To support a newly formed communications team, I developed this comprehensive style guide to establish a unified brand voice and ensure professional consistency across all product channels. Heavily influenced by the Associated Press Style Guide, the Ontada Product Marketing and Communications Style Guide provides a framework for translating technical product information into clear, jargon-free narratives that prioritize the user experience and build trust.

The goal was to help all teammates, regardless of their technical background, produce cohesive, authentic, and authoritative content focused on our audience's needs.
